Rosé is the perfect wine for this time of year, for reasons including it’s gorgeous blush hue that blends well with the seasonal flowers in bloom, it brightens up a brunch table, and it is meant to be enjoyed young, capturing the fresh, red fruit prevalent in this type of wine; think ripe strawberries, red raspberries, etc.  We’re in love with the way these fruits are paired with a hint of grounding minerality, and a pop of subtle welcoming tartness. You may also taste white flowers with hints of vanilla.

Because of their bright palate-cleansing qualities, they can be fantastic food wines or enjoyed sipped on their own. When choosing this style of wine, you can’t go wrong with one from the Provence area in the southern Rhone region of France.

Celebrate National Rosé Day on June 10th at one of our Miami Beach favorites, Nikki Beach, where the vibe is Côte d’Azur chic transporting you to the South of France.

Here, rosé is flowing every Saturday with specials by the glass for $5 and bottles for $25. In honor of this national day, Nikki Beach will also be collaborating with Ladyfings popsicles to offer $2 Lychee Rosewater popsicles to swirl in your glass and Frose, the perfect slushy treat to refresh in the balmy heat. Enjoy in the ultimate atmosphere with your toes in the sand and a Dj setting the scenes spinning cool house tunes .

At this time of year, you can’t go wrong with a rosé from any region and spin on style, at the end of the day, it’s all about the company and atmosphere you enjoy it with. In celebration of National Rosé Day, santé!
